Pathfinder Lodge


Pathfinder Lodge is nestled along the hills surrounding Otsego Lake near Cooperstown, NY on County Rt. 31. Its picturesque location allows for hours of relaxation and fun swimming, boating or sailing on Otsego Lake or just enjoying the beauty from shore. Pathfinder provides a full summer of children's camping and utilizes a variety of cabins for sleeping. Several of our newer cabins are equipped with full bathrooms and are also available for rental during our family camping weeks or Fourth of July and Labor Day. Fall and spring weekends are available for retreat rental beginning May 1 - October 20.

OPEN HOUSE AT CAMP (All ages) FREE
This Open House provides an opportunity for pastors, campers and parents to visit our camps and learn more about our programs. What an ideal way for those first time campers to get a feel for the camp! LUNCH IS PROVIDED! 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

LIFEGUARD TRAINING (AGES 15 AND UP)
This is a Red Cross course including the waterfront module and is open to any youth or adult with good swimming ability (must be able to swim 500m). Required first aid and CPR are included.

SR. HIGH LEADERSHIP TRAINING (Grades 10-12)
An intensive four -day training workshop designed to help teenagers develop leadership skills. You choose the location or the timing that best suits your schedule. This is a prerequisite for all teens that wish to volunteer at our camps.

SPECIAL NEEDS ADULT RESPITE WEEKEND (Adult)
Begins and ends @ 3:00 pm. A time for adult campers, with special needs, to enjoy outdoor activities. Campers need to be ambulatory and reasonably independent in personal care skills. Register early, camp size is limited!

60th ANNIVERSARY CAMPER/ALUMNI REUNION AND FAMILY CAMP WEEK (All ages)
Stony Lonesome, the chapel, canoe swamps … it's all still here! Refresh your memories while living in cabins with hot water showers or bring your tent or RV. You can relax and enjoy the area at your own pace or participate in planned campfires, worship experiences and activities (be ready for Talent Night). Register for as many days as you wish. Stay 5 nights and the 6tjs night is free. See Outdoor Ministries brochure for rate details. Optional meal plan if $15 per day, children half price.

AQUATICS/ROUGH TERRAIN (Grades 8-12)
This adventure includes supervised scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, canoeing and indoor rock climbing, as well as team building challenge activities.

DISCOVERY (Grades 3-6)
Come and experience all that camp has to offer. Come make new friends. Playing sports, making crafts, exploring nature trails and deepening your relationship with God are all a part of this fun-packed week. Enjoy the opportunity of sleeping out of doors.

SPORTS CAMP (Grades 5-9)
Sports enthusiasts of all abilities will enjoy playing soccer, basketball, volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee.

CREATIVE ARTS (Grades 7-12) JUNIOR ARTS (Grades 3-6)
Explore your creative side! Choose from painting, acting, cake decorating, writing, photography, singing, playing instruments, cookie puppetry and more.

SAILING CAMP (Grades 8-12)
Learn to sail or improve your skills on a sunfish, some racing boats and a 28-foot sloop. Reasonable swimming skills are necessary.

CHALLENGERS (Grade 6-9)
This is 'THE EVENT" for junior high campers; find out what you're made of. Challenge yourself with swimming, boating, crafts, sports and games, and team building activities that will push you to the limit and bring you to better know who you are and who you can become with God.

SENIOR HIGH RETREAT (Grades 9-12+)
Come relax, be renewed and worship God. Enjoy God's beautiful world and the camp's great facilities!

EXPLORERS (Grades 4-7)
Come and experience all that camp has to offer. Come make new friends while playing sports, making crafts, exploring nature trails and deepening your relationship with God are all a part of this fun-packed week. Enjoy the opportunity of sleeping out of doors.

SPECIAL NEEDS TEENS
Special needs campers will be housed together and integrated into programs as appropriate. Register early, camp size is limited!

BASEBALL HALL OF FAME FAMILY SPECIAL

BEGINNERS (Grades 1-3) (begins 1:00 pm, ends 5:00 pm)
This unique overnight camping experience is designed to give younger campers a positive camping experience in a supportive Christian environment. The shortened week gives first time campers a good introduction to the camp experience.

PIONEER (Grade 5-10)
Sleep out in tents, cook many of your own meals and learn how to survive in the wilderness. Even have fun on a short canoe trip!

SPECIAL NEEDS ADULTS
This is a vacation week for adult amperes with special needs, where they will enjoy outdoor activities such as boating and campfires. Campers need to be ambulatory and reasonably independent in personal care skills. Register early, camp size is limited!

WATER ADVENTURE (Grades 8-12)
Experience a week of aquatic adventure, including water skiing, tubing, canoeing, sailing, scuba and more. Our "Adventure" will begin and end at Pathfinder Lodge.
