Packing Tips Small suitcases, backpacks and duffle bags work best. Plastic trash bags rip easily and are hard to identify during check out. Make sure all personal belongings are well labeled. Be sure to include extra socks and shoes. Remember that temperatures at Camp Vick can be slightly cooler than at home. Campers bringing personal equipment (i.e. cameras, musical instruments, etc.) are responsible for their care and safekeeping. Expensive jewelry or watches should be left at home. Radios, tape and CD players, cell phones, and electronic games are not appropriate for camp. If they are brought to camp, they will be held and returned to the camper at the end of the session.
