Tenx10 Relational Discipleship Kickstart
At its core, discipleship is relational - accompanying others as they follow Jesus, as we follow Jesus together. Yet if recent trends continue, over 1 million US young people will annually walk away from the church and from the full, abundant life Jesus offers. We are at a tipping point, and now is the time for the body of Christ to act. The Relational Discipleship Kickstart will launch you toward relational discipleship radically focused on Jesus through… world-class research on young people, discipleship, and ministry today; fresh explorations into key Scripture passages; video training from our TENx10 diverse partners and experienced youth leaders like you; reflection questions to immediately apply what you’re learning; quick and easy assessments to help you diagnose your ministry; and worksheets that will empower you to craft a plan for your context.
Pastor Raymond Chang is the Executive for Advocacy and Strategic Initiatives at the TENx10 Collaboration out of Fuller Seminary. Ray is also the President of the Asian American Christian Collaborative, a pastor, and a writer. He and his wife, Jessica Min Chang, are proud parents of Sophia, and they reside in Chicago.
Ray Chang, Executive Director for Advocacy and Strategic Initiatives at TENx10 and President at the Asian American Christian Collaborative, will lead a training on TENx10 and the Relational Discipleship Kickstart (RDK), an innovative framework designed to help churches build deeper, more life-giving relationships with young people. Through interactive teaching, practical tools, and collaborative discussion, participants will gain a clearer vision for how relational discipleship can transform their communities. This training will equip you to take the next step in cultivating a culture of belonging and spiritual growth among the next generation as we seek to make faith matter more for young people.
