What is this? Made by God for your family, your community, a purpose, for good works in this time, this place, this space, this world to make a difference. Ephesians 2:10- For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (NIV) Speaker: Baillie Townsend Baillie grew up as a missionary kid in Mexico, where she had a front-row seat to God's work through indigenous churches and communities. Those experiences sparked a lifelong passion for missions and eventually led her to serve with International Ministries as the Short-Term Mission Associate. She loves helping others discover how God can use short-term mission experiences to make a lasting impact. When she's not working, you'll probably find Baillie exploring the outdoors. Whether she's traveling to a new destination, spending time on the lake, or hiking a mountain trail in West Virginia, she loves adventure and being in God's creation. Band: Undefeated Undefeated is made up of 3 Upstate NY Siblings. While their background is rock music, they will be leading ABY in worship throughout our weekend. Meredith, Christian and Lis decided from the beginning that if God was in this, God would build and direct the way. With their metal influence and the influence of lyrists like Flyleaf, these three are sure to bring the convention into a place of energy and worship. Mission Project: Made for Renewal We will be working with International Ministries Global Servants, Kit Ripley and Mylinda Baits as they serve trauma survivors in Thailand and surrounding areas. Kit and Mylinda bring their vast experience to reinforce resilience and process traumatic stress, depression and anxiety through their workshops and clinical experiences. The project ABY is funding is transformation training for Karen women from Myanmar who are experiencing religious persecution and sex trafficking. |
