- Personal Growth and Enrichment -- Anyone is welcome to take one, a few, or all courses offered.
- Leadership Development – Courses help people to prepare for leadership in the local church, including as a Certified Lay Pastor.

ABCNYS LAY STUDY PROGRAM COURSES FALL 2024
CHURCH HISTORY – STARTING OCTOBER 7, 2024
When: Monday evenings 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. – Online via Zoom.
Instructor: Rev. Larry Bell pastored American Baptist churches in New York State for 23 years. During his retirement he is supply preaching, and serving as a historian for Howland Stone Store Museum. He has a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell, studied early church history at Cornell, and participated in an archeological dig at Tel Zeitah, Israel. He has curated historical museum exhibits, and published numerous genealogical and historical articles.. [email protected]
