WHY:
As pastors, ministers, chaplains and faith leaders we know how stressful and, at times, overwhelming ministry can be! We know how hard it is to give ourselves a much needed rest. We know that while most of the time our cup runneth over, sometimes our cup runneth dry and we ourselves need to: be lifted up, refreshed, revitalized and rested. And occasionally we need to vent to someone who has been there, be supported by someone who understands, and receive consolation and comfort from a trusted colleague. If you recognize any of these thoughts as ones you yourself have had, then this event is for you!
There is No Program, No Special Speaker, and No Expectation from you other than that you attend and bask in the light of God’s fellowship and love. Our time together will include worship & sharing, prayer & praise, time for reflection & renewal, conversation & communion, and an opportunity for creative play. Come, be in the presence of those who also share the joys and struggles of Pastorhood and Ministry!
Your Ministers Council is here for YOU! Spend a day - set aside just one day - to renew old friendships and start new ones. Be restored and rejoice in God's love, and the beauty of all who serve to bring God's amazing "Kingdom to earth as it is in Heaven!” Come, spend A Day enjoying our unity and oneness in Christ Jesus!
